I finally managed to upload the first chapter of Firelight!  I really wanted to touch on that cultural anxiety and that anxiety that one might feel from their own religion, but I'm upset that I couldn't get to the supernatural portion of the story in this chapter. However, I also think that would be for the best as I want to ease readers in and surprise them later when it shows up in the next chapter as it will subvert their expectations.

This is a story that I am pouring my heart and soul into as I have been planning this for almost over a year. Once I get to edit and finish polishing the rest, I'll be sure to upload the rest of it soon.
